Modernization Of Madarsa

"There are madrasas in large number across the city. They should be connected with the formal education and mainstream education so that those children studying there can also contribute in the development of the society,” it was the outlined of the project “Modernization of Madrasa” started by Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, the Union Minister for Minority Affairs.

Modernization of Madrasas is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plan that he laid out in run-up to Lok Sabha elections in 2014. “Hold Quran in one hand and computer in other,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said.

“To ensure socio-economic-educational empowerment of minorities especially girls through ‘3Es- Education, Employment and Empowerment,’ various scholarships including pre-matric, post-matric, merit-cum-means etc has been started. We the members of Mission Awareness Foundation, are highly inspired by this revolutionary idea and we are wishing to contribute in this field.

Most of the students passed from madrasa education at the age of 16 -18 don’t have any idea about how to start the formal education, but there is complete way through which students can complete not only secondary and higher secondary schooling but also can be graduated in any field simultaneously with madrasa education. and our core objective are as follows.

1) To start a campaign to spread awareness and convince the authorities of madrasa to start teaching of the subjects like English, Hindi Marathi, Science and Mathematics etc.

2) To guide students, make the way crystal clear so that they can take admission in school simultaneously as most of the madrasa running only one session (morning session), so the students can take admission in suitable school for evening session.

3) To aware and guide the students about form number 17, the facility given by the government of Maharashtra for dropout students to attained SSC and HSC board examinations.
