Mission Awareness Foundation follows a reliable refund policy to let our donors feel privileged about their association with us. We take the utmost care of every donation we receive.
1. Donation Refunds
As a non-profit organization, Mission Awareness Foundation generally does not provide refunds for donations once they have been successfully processed. Donations are immediately allocated to our vital social missions.
2. Exceptions
Refunds may be considered under certain exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Technical Error: If a duplicate transaction occurs due to a technical glitch in the payment gateway.
- Unauthorized Use: If the donation was made without the cardholder's authorization (subject to bank verification).
- Incorrect Amount: If an incorrect amount was entered by mistake (requests must be made within 24 hours).
3. Request Process
To request a refund, please email us at connect@missionawareness.org with your transaction details and reason for the request. All requests must be made within 48 hours of the donation.
4. Refund Timeline
If approved, the refund will be processed through the same payment gateway and back to the original source. It may take 7-10 working days for the amount to reflect in your account.
5. Tax Receipts
If a refund is processed, any tax exemption certificate (80G) issued for that donation will be null and void. Donors are advised not to use void certificates for tax claims.
